The end of last week was reserved for volunteer exchange in Vidin in Bulgaria. Under the project “Moving borders for volunteering” volunteers from 5 volunteer centres form cross border region of Serbia and 5 volunteer centres form Bulgaria realised volunteer exchange.

This volunteer exchange was focused on volunteering and helping the children that spends time in social services in that town. Volunteers from Serbia had an opportunity that through work with children share their experiences and feeling with volunteers from Bulgaria. Filled with beautiful impressions and additional motivation they came back to Serbia. Given that volunteering in social care institutions is not foreign to volunteers in Bulgaria, this was a good opportunity to exchange volunteering experiences, how it seems to be volunteer in such institutions.

After this exchange, in next period will follow exchange that will be organized in Serbia, in Zajecar correctly, when the volunteer from Serbia and Bbulgaria will had a chance to volunteer in different institutions and organisations in Zajecar and also to exchange experiences with volunteer form Serbia how it looks to volunteer in Serbia, on which postiotions and occasions they volunteer, etc.

Project Moving borders for volunteering implements Timok Youth Center in partnership with Free Youth Center from Vidin, Bulgaria, and its co-financed by EU through the Interreg-IPA CBC Bulgaria–Serbia Programme and Ministry of youth and sport of the Republic of Serbia.
