Smart Collective will organize an Info session on the Social Assistance Support Program for employment of young people in Zajecar, on September 13th, in the premises of the Youth Center of the Zajecar’s Initiative (7th September №2). Info session will start at 14:00 CET.

This support program is a part of the Youth Empowerment project, which is being implemented in the framework of German-Serbian development cooperation. The project is implemented by the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ) in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia.

The goal of the project is to support young people ages 15-35 in order to improve their position in the labor market, as well as obtaining jobs faster. The support program provides the opportunities for business companies to obtain strategic consultant support in development and improvement of their businesses through working with experienced business consultants and entrepreneurs, thus developing cooperation with GIZ and connection with similar companies in Serbia.

Call proposal is implemented in cooperation with Smart Collective, which provides support in the selection process. Interested persons for the info session will have the opportunity to:

– Learn more about the concept of social entrepreneurship and examples of good practices in Serbia;

– Be provided with detailed information on the Support Program for companies that have a positive impact on young people;

– Get acquainted with the program’s objectives, key activities and time frames of the program;

– Get familiar with the selection process, the criteria and necessary documents for the application.

Miodrag Shrestha (Consultant for Social Entrepreneurship GIZ, Youth Employment Promotion) and Neven Marinović (Director of Smart Collective) will speak at the session.
