Timok Youth Center – TOC invites all young people from Zaječar County to apply for participation in “Youth Career Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship Networking and Transfer” project. The main goal of the project is to improve Youth career guidance, promote Youth entrepreneurship and advancement of cross-border cooperation of young people through educative and business sectors.

Twenty young participants will get the opportunity to participate in two-day seminar First job event on March 12th and 13th 2014 in Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria. The aim of this activity is to provide support for unemployed young people from cross-border region in job search and job application both in private and public sectors. Main focus during this event will be on importance of lifelong learning and diminishment of the gap between education system and job market. Series of meetings and workshops during the event will allow the participants to acquire practical knowledge and advices, get familiar with employment procedures in Bulgaria and European Union countries, visit career centers and achieve direct communication with companies.
Requirements:

  • Young people ages 18 to 30
  • Young people that have inhabitance or residence on the territory of Zaječar County (City of Zaječar, towns of Knjaževac, Sokobanja, and Boljevac)
  • Young high-school graduates, students, without previous work experience
  • Filled application form

Filled application form (in the continuation of document) are to be sent by e-mail to office@toc.rs or delivered personally to TOC, Nikole Pašića Street, Number 37, 3rd floor, Offices 13 – 15, 19000 Zaječar. Application deadline is Friday, February 28th 2014, until 16:00 CET. Selected participants will be contacted by Friday, March 7th 2014.
