The work group was formed as a part of the “Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Promotion of Health and Healthy Lifestyles of Young People” project, which was implemented by Timok Youth Center, Youth of JAZAS and Serbian National Umbrella Organization, with the financial support of Foundation for an Open Society.

The overall goal was increase the quality of life of young people in Serbia through encouragement of use of ICT and Social Networks with the aim of enhancement of flow of information, knowledge, capacities and capabilities for networking of young people in the area of health protection, as well as promotion of health and healthy lifestyles of Young people. This is to be achieved through introduction of innovation and creativity in use of ICT and Social Networks, increase of their use among young people, as well as increase of creativity in usage of free and/or low budget resources in the areas of protection and improvement of general health and promotion of health and healthy lifestyles among young people.

Conclusions of this work group were used for the development of the draft of the publication “Guidelines for Implementation of Policies Regarding the Enhancement of the Promotion of Health and Healthy Lifestyles of Young People in Republic of Serbia through ICT and Social Networks”.
